Why You Are Losing Bids (And How We Fix It)

1. Rushing the Takeoff

When you rush a bid at 11 PM, you miss details. A missed line item means you either lose the bid, or worse, you win it and lose money. We provide the dedicated time required for flawless accuracy.

2. Un-leveled Subcontractor Quotes

General Contractors often accept the lowest sub bid without realizing it excludes a massive piece of the scope. We meticulously level every sub bid to protect you from scope gaps.

3. Ignoring General Conditions

Many contractors fail to accurately price supervision, cleanup, and hoisting. We build comprehensive indirect cost models so your true overhead is fully covered.

Bid Estimating FAQs

Will you submit the bid on our behalf?

No. We operate as your back-office estimating department. We prepare all the documentation, pricing, and the final proposal, but you will review it and submit it to your client under your own company name.

What is a typical win rate?

While win rates vary heavily by industry and market conditions, our strategic bidding approach typically helps clients achieve a 15% to 25% win rate on hard bids, and much higher on negotiated work.

Do you help with RFIs during the bidding phase?

Yes. If we discover discrepancies in the blueprints or specifications during our review, we will immediately draft Requests for Information (RFIs) for you to send to the architect.
